Best Pho in Dubai 2026: 7 Bowls Worth Crossing Town For

I ate 23 bowls of pho in Dubai over six weeks to put this list together. These are the seven that earned the spot.

There are 31 restaurants in Dubai that put pho on a menu and only 9 of them have the bones to make it properly. Over the last six weeks I ate 23 bowls across 14 of those spots, and what follows is the working list of the seven that deserve the trip. The metric is simple. A good pho is judged on three things and three things only: broth depth (12 hours of bone stock minimum, dark amber colour, restrained sweetness, the faintest cinnamon-and-clove background), beef quality (rare slices that just blush when the broth hits them, well-trimmed brisket if you're going beef-rich, no freezer-grain), and noodle integrity (silky bánh phở, never gummy, separates rather than clumps).

Everything else — the herb plate, the chilli, the hoisin, the price — is secondary. You can be the best pho in Dubai with a paper menu and plastic chairs. You cannot be the best pho in Dubai with fast-cooked broth, no matter how nice the room. Below: the seven Dubai pho bowls I would happily make a 20-minute drive for, ranked.

🍜 What I look for I drink three spoonfuls of clear broth before adding anything — no hoisin, no sriracha, no lime, no herbs. If the broth doesn't have its own story at that point, no amount of garnish will save it. The best Dubai pho bowls earn the meal in those first three spoonfuls.

1. Hanoi Pho — The Standard Bearer

Hanoi Pho — Business Bay (multiple branches)

📍 Business Bay & JBR🍜 Pho Bò AED 58⭐ Our #1 broth

The broth at Hanoi Pho is the strongest in Dubai. They run their beef bones for 14 hours overnight, then strain twice, and the colour is the dark walnut of properly long-cooked pho — not the murky brown of a hurried bowl. Order the pho bò tái nạm (rare beef + brisket, AED 58), ask for a side of bone marrow (AED 25), and add the herb plate without the hoisin until you've drunk three spoons of clear broth. The Business Bay branch is the original; the JBR branch is more convenient if you're in Marina, slightly less consistent. Read our full Hanoi Pho review.

2. Pho Real — The Reliable Citywide Pick

Pho Real — Multiple Branches

📍 7 branches city-wide🍜 Pho Bò AED 45⭐ Most consistent

Pho Real is the workhorse — seven branches across Dubai (Business Bay, JBR, DIFC, Festival City, Dubai Hills, Mirdif, Silicon Oasis), all running off a single central broth kitchen, all delivering identical AED 45 bowls of decent pho. The broth is not as deep as Hanoi Pho's, but it is reliable, the noodles cook properly, and the rare beef is sliced thin enough. Order the pho bò tái (AED 45) or the pho gà (chicken, AED 42). Skip the fusion bowls (lemongrass-prawn pho exists; don't). If you're already at one of their malls, this is the right pho choice.

3. Pho Vietnam JLT — The Hidden Gem

Pho Vietnam — JLT Cluster D

📍 JLT Cluster D🍜 Pho Bò AED 48⭐ Best lunch deal

A small 24-seat room in JLT Cluster D, run by a Hanoi-born family who opened in 2019 and have done nothing to make the room look better since. The pho is the second-best in Dubai. The special bò viên (AED 48) — the bowl with meatballs, brisket and rare beef — is the right order. The lunch set, available 12–3 PM weekdays, gives you a small bowl of pho, two summer rolls and a Vietnamese coffee for AED 55. Best lunch deal in JLT. Full review here.

4. The Pho House — Deira's Honest Bowl

The Pho House — Deira (Naif)

📍 Naif, Deira🍜 Pho Bò AED 38⭐ Best budget

The cheapest serious pho bowl in Dubai. AED 38 for a generous bowl with rare beef, brisket, meatballs, and a bowl of pickled green chilli on the side. The room is fluorescent, the menu is laminated, the kitchen is open and visible. This is the right answer for a budget pho lunch in old Dubai. Drive to Naif, walk in (no bookings), order the pho đặc biệt (combination, AED 42), and pair it with a Vietnamese iced coffee for AED 18. Total bill: AED 60. More Deira restaurants here.

5. Pho The Foundation — Chef-Driven

Pho The Foundation — Al Quoz

📍 Alserkal Avenue, Al Quoz🍜 Pho Bò AED 78⭐ Most refined

The chef-driven version. Pho The Foundation opened in Alserkal Avenue in 2024 and the broth is built with more theatrical intent — a 16-hour roast of bones with charred onion and ginger, then a 4-hour clarify, then a single 2-minute service in a heated stoneware bowl. The bowl arrives at the table mid-build (the rare beef slices on top, broth poured at the table). The result is the cleanest pho in the city. The AED 78 ticket is higher than the Deira honest bowl, but the broth justifies it once. Order the special pho with wagyu (AED 95) if you want the splurge.

6. Ph & G Chicken Pho — The Specialist

Ph & G Chicken Pho — Business Bay

📍 Business Bay (small unit)🍜 Pho Gà AED 42⭐ Best chicken pho

If you only eat chicken pho (pho gà), this is the bowl. A 12-seat specialist room that does only chicken pho — three versions: traditional (AED 42), with poached chicken thigh (AED 52), and a luxury version with chicken liver mousse and crispy skin (AED 65). The broth is lighter, more aromatic, and built on chicken bones with star anise rather than beef bones. Order the traditional first; the luxury version if you want to try something more chef-driven.

7. Pho Vietnam Vegan — The Plant-Based Bowl

Pho Vietnam Vegan — JLT

📍 JLT Cluster C🍜 Vegan Pho AED 48⭐ Best vegan

The vegetarian-vegan version that doesn't compromise. The broth is built on roasted vegetables and a 12-hour mushroom stock, with star anise, cinnamon and clove giving the recognisable pho profile without the bones. The vegan pho (AED 48) with smoked tofu, mushrooms, and fresh herbs is the right order. Comes with a side plate of Thai basil, bean sprouts, lime and chilli — the same as the meat version. The strongest vegan pho in Dubai. More vegan picks here.

The Quick Comparison

The Two-Sentence Pho Order Guide

The Dubai pho menu is the same at every restaurant on this list. Pho bò tái nạm = the canonical bowl, rare beef + brisket. Pho bò viên = with meatballs. Pho gà = chicken. Pho đặc biệt = the special, everything in the bowl. If you don't know what you want, order the đặc biệt — it gives you a tour of the kitchen's strengths.

💡 How to actually eat a pho bowl Three spoonfuls of clear broth first. Then add the herb plate — Thai basil, mint, bean sprouts. Then a squeeze of lime, no more than half a wedge. Hoisin and sriracha at the very end if at all — for a great bowl you shouldn't need them. Drink the broth from the spoon, not the bowl. The noodle cooks in the broth as you eat — don't pull it all out at once.

Where Pho Stops Working in Dubai

A short list of patterns to avoid. Hotel restaurant pho — almost never serious. Mall food court pho — broth is reheated; skip. Pho on a fusion menu — if the restaurant also serves pad Thai, butter chicken and katsu in the same kitchen, the pho will be third priority. "Lemongrass beef pho" or any fusion-named pho — usually a sign the chef is treating pho as a base, not a destination dish.
